THE LIVE TRADING ROOM IS CLOSED FRIDAY 10th APRIL. It may open Monday 13th April.
WhichWayToday LIVE Trading Room Access - 9th April 2009
ACCESS FOR EVERYONE
I like to put the LIVE trading room to the test in order to see what it can withstand. So the room is open today for anyone. There is no software to download. All you have to do is read the next few lines:
On the login page the email the system asks for is your own email (no registration needed today)
The password you have to input is: trader
You will then be asked for your name and surname.
The room starts at 06:30am London time, although you can log in 15 min before.
The room is open all day. I will trade live. I will make comments on trading setups. My aim is not to fire off 20-30 trades in a day, but to find good trading set-ups and manage the position. There is no talking in the room. It is purely a "chat" function, and I have the ability to show you charts as well. In time I will talk in the room, but for now it is purely a chat function.
A word about the room:
it is free (for now)
no software to download
very discreet in the office
a small bell will alert you to new messages in the chat area. You can turn it up or down, if needed.

Analysis 9th April 2009 - 06:50am
Good morning,
I am not one for saying that all gaps get filled, because they don't. Accep that as fact. Northern Rock and Marconi have big unfilled gaps. Those extreme examples aside, you have a sizeable gap on the Dax futures this morning, indicating a much higher open. I tempted fate by shorting it at the close of the first bar. (15 min), with a 15 point stop. Clearly a rather random strategy with little merit, but the anticipation of a a drop back towards the close of yesterday.
I have highlighted the gaps from the last handful days on a chart for you:
